So, it came to an end, my time at the Financial Conduct Authority ended, the computer was handed over, work was placed in their safe and capable hands and farewells done.

I took two weeks off completely from anything work-related (classing LinkedIn, in fact, any social media as work) and it was a joy, it was tiring (two kids mean a lot of walking.. a lot of snack making and a lot of last-minute ideas for entertainment) including a trip to Berwick upon Tweed (which is a lovely place to drop in thanks to Emma’s uncle for letting us stay!).

The contracting gods smiled down upon me as well, turns out you can schedule a start date (hat tip to the security checks as well..), and it turns out clients are out there (I know the market is murky but keep at it).

I do miss my people at Axiologik, and we shall work together again, I can sense it, but I now find myself at AstraZeneca till the end of July, working on a very fun and challenging (for all the right reasons) project and so far I bloody love it!

A short and sweet update this week, as there is a lot of personal things happening at the same time.
